Horn was formed as a solo project in 2003. The initial drive behind it was to create nature-themed Black Metal, focussing on the relation of man and nature in a regional context. Preparing for this year's Ragnarök Festival I realized, that I had missed this album, so I closed the gap. HORN's folkish rough black metal works well on disc but also on stage, several catchy songs moved the crowd, just check "Alpenrekorder" or "Protektor".

Easily one of the most powerful Pagan Black metal albums unleashed into the world. The musicianship is phenomenal, the vocal performance is savage, and the atmosphere is a somber triumph. After my first play through I had to listen to it again. Horn has quickly become one of my favourite bands that I will champion at any time.
